Work is well underway on the annual gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World.
The life-sized gingerbread display, a long-standing tradition at the Grand Floridian, will officially open on November 6, 2024, welcoming guests for the holiday season.
Disney pastry chefs create this impressive structure each year using hundreds of pounds of gingerbread, icing, and other ingredients to assemble the house, which doubles as a holiday-themed snack stand. This year’s display will bring the same signature Victorian charm, complete with intricate details and festive decorations, adding to the Grand Floridian’s seasonal atmosphere.
Once open, visitors will have the chance to purchase holiday treats right from the gingerbread house, with options like gingerbread shingles, cookies, and other seasonal specialties crafted by Disney’s culinary team.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Grand Floridian completes its 2024 gingerbread house.
