Whether you’re building, fixing, renovating, growing, buying, cooking, designing, mowing or hunting for the latest technology … you can find plenty of help (and more) at the 67th annual Southern Home & Garden Show, produced by the Home Builders Association of Greenville.
The show – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21 through Feb. 23, at the Greenville Convention Center – will showcase more than 300 exhibitors and exhibitions for professionals, DIYers, the merely curious, and even kiddos.
“I’m incredibly pleased and super excited. There’s something for everybody. We have a terrific show lined up, a big show,” says Taylor Lyles, who has been Chief Executive Officer of the HBA of Greenville for six years. “There’s more enthusiasm than ever before.”
The newest, hottest products involve technology and automation.
“Technology is changing, especially in appliances – built-in air fryers in your oven, sous vide in your ovens, induction cook-tops, and outdoor features,” Lyles says.
“Jeff Lynch will have a large booth this year, almost double the size of other years, and they’re bringing a lot of new technology.”
Jeff Lynch Appliances, Electronics, Bedding and Furniture is presenting the Southern Home & Garden Show.
“Home automation is big right now, especially with these trades returning from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Priority 1 Security is launching a new platform, and it’s the next layer of home automation,” Lyles says.
The tech can all be controlled with a cell phone. “It’s saving the homeowner time in their day-to-day life,” he says.
Automation used outside the home will also be featured, including tractors from Ag-Pro, water equipment and exterior lighting.
Another show sponsor, Central Electrical Services, is bringing generators and other electrification solutions. “Generators are a hot topic, post-Hurricane Helene. Solar siding is big in the show this year,” Lyles says.
“People will see technology, automation, and different materials. Star Granite Interiors is bringing new, synthetic countertops that are absolutely stunning.”
Everything about the show is bigger and better, Lyles says.
“We’ve got more booths, more builders, more landscapers, more remodelers, more quality trades and contractors. We’ve got rock stars on the floor, absolutely incredible partners,” he says.

The title sponsor is Jeff Lynch, and additional sponsors this year are J. Callahan Concrete, MD Roofing, Longview Carolina, Team GRS and Central Electric.
Show favorites are returning, including the Golden Strip Career Center.
The Southern Kitchen will highlight demonstrations from local chefs, with plenty of samples for tasting.
Team GRS is sponsoring the DIY Stage. The Designer Showcase features local designers who have collaborated to create a booth with the sponsor, Design Resource Gallery, and Art & Light Gallery. Show-goers can vote for their favorite booth.
This year’s designers are Kerry Clare, Randolph Estate Living; Debbie Wilson, Twitch & Tweed; and Lauren Carrington, Lauren Carrington Interior Design.
The Kids Make and Take sponsored by The Home Depot will take center stage (and give parents a break) on Saturday and Sunday.
No day is complete without furbabies, so Dipple Plumbing will partner with the Greenville Humane Society for dog adoptions on the Home Show floor.
The Garden Center will sell plants. One vendor will raffle a “She Shed.” And the Artisan Market – a new addition last year – will have about 50 vendors exhibiting hand-crafted wares.
“That’s going to be a big draw this year, and I’m thrilled,” Lyles says.
“We have a lot of new booths in the show, and some great vendors who are returning.”
Many companies and contractors can help homeowners who have storm damage.
“A large number of remodelers in the show do restoration, remediation, insurance work, roofing. If consumers are looking for help with work at their homes, this is a perfect place for them to come,” Lyles says. “We have everything you need from start to finish.”
Those looking to build or buy a home can check out Lennar Homes, Brown Haven Homes, Becklan Custom Homes, Build On Your Land, Superior Homes, National Home Builders, BuildMasters, Hunter Quinn Homes & HQ Home Sights, Longview Carolina, and Jay Cox Construction, Red Clay Construction.
Most importantly, the Southern Home & Garden Show is a place to see products and meet contractors.
“You can interact with the person you choose to come to your home to do your job or the person coming to quote your job. You see the product. You can pre-vet vendors before they ever know your phone number,” Lyles says.
“You can shop multiple vendors in person instead of searching online. The Home Show puts them in one room where you can get all of your questions answered.”
A priority for the HBA of Greenville is helping people find the help they need – all year long.
“Consumers can reach out to us for anything, whether it’s a builder, a developer, a realtor, a trade partner to fix their house,” Lyles explains.
“We vet every single person who joins the HBA. When you call the association, you will get the names of quality, qualified professionals … somebody who will do what they say they’re going to do for the price they quote you.”
Anyone can call the organization, ask for a recommendation, and receive the names of three or four professionals, Lyles says.
The HBA of Greenville is the largest association in the state with more than 1,100 members. “And growing every day,” he says.
Members are builders, residential developers, remodelers, home improvement specialists, tradespeople, and real estate professionals.
The HBA’s 2025 Board President is Emily Raines, the second woman who has held the role. She is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for DRB Homes, Greenville Division.
Since 1960, members have joined the HBA of Greenville for advocacy, consumer leads, networking and professional development, Lyles says.
“The association truly is a benefit – and not just for the building industry,” he says. “We’re growing to continue meeting the needs of consumers looking for qualified professionals. That’s always been a goal for us.”
The Southern Home & Garden Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 21 and Feb. 22; and noon to 5 p.m. Feb. 23. Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for senior citizens; and children under 12 are free. Parking at the Convention Center, 1 Exposition Drive, is $10; no cash is accepted for parking.
