INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana’s home building industry into 2025 has shown single-family building permits are on the rise.
The Indiana Builders Association (IBA) reported that 1,353 single-family permits were issued statewide in January, a 7% increase from the 1,269 permits pulled in January 2024. Additionally, the figure represents an 11% increase from December, when 1,216 permits were issued.
“The steady increase in permits is a strong indicator of Indiana’s healthy housing market,” said Ryan Baker, IBA president. “With demand for new construction remaining high, we’re optimistic about continued growth in 2025.”
